Social Sharing Stretch Goals are going live today!!!
about 5 years ago – Sat, Feb 02, 2019 at 05:43:55 PM

Hello everyone several backers have suggested we consider a social sharing campaign - we kind of liked this idea and took it seriously, and here what we came up with... we are REALLY excited to announce our social sharing Stretch Goals!

The short version: Share/retweet the post, include the hashtags, & unlock NEW cool stretch goals and other social stretch goals (yes, for free!)

What are the New Social Sharing Stretch Goals?

  • 100 Collective Shares - Poppers for Everyone
  • 200 Collective Shares - A new wall tile for the buildings
  • 300 Collective Shares - 2 new 50mm Ground Tiles (Eric will hate this lol)
  • 400 Collective Shares - 4 new 50mm Ground Tiles (Eric will hate this even more lol)
  • 500 Collective Shares - A new variant of the Faceless Woman
  • 1000 Collective Shares - A new 4 way for the walkways
  • 2000 Collective Shares - A new Lava Tube
  • 3000 Collective Shares - A new Rooftop with heavy damage
  • 4000 Collective Shares - A new mega tile 250mm x 250mm
  • 5000 Collective Shares - A new variant of the Floating Islands
  • 10000 Collective Shares - Not expecting to reach this but you never know, a new terrain piece an archway standing around 100mm with the reaper statue on each side of the arch making for an impressive entrance to a city or base.

*Collective amongst Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. See below for more info!

What is the Social Sharing?

Our social sharing concept invites backers to rally by sharing a specific Facebook Post (on Facebook), retweeting a specific tweet, and/or downloading your favorite INFERNO card below and reposting it on Instagram with the hashtags below.

You can help by: sharing THIS Facebook post (on Facebook), retweeting THIS tweet, and including the #infernoks and the #wor hashtag.

What are Social Stretch Goals?

Social Stretch goals are a way for us to encourage you, the backers, to share the campaign with your friends so we can raise campaign awareness, and hopefully add more happy backers to our little backer family while rewarding backers for helping us get the word out!

The more you help us share the campaign with your friends, the more social stretch goals get unlocked. Unlike regular stretch goals, these goals aren't attached to how much funding we raise - only how much the campaign is shared across social media. That's right - even if we make $0 on this campaign, I'm committing to reward backers for sharing and helping get the word out!

How The Social Stretch Goals Work

Since all backers (and possibly even some non-backers) can help share the Kickstarter, all backers also reap the potential rewards. To be fair to all of the backers who backed Kickstarter, all of these social share stretch goals will goal to all pledge levels that include files.  But there's more to it...

How the Social Stretch Goals are Measured

We are tracking exact shares of:

You can follow along on our progress on each platform underneath the respective Facebook post and Twitter tweet. See below to see where you can find it:

Guidelines For How You Can Help

If you'd like to participate, and are looking for some creative ways to do so, consider a few of these suggestions to help you think outside of the box:

  • Take A Chance: Why not tweet your favorite RPG players, companies, celebrities, and other nerds in the Twittersphere. Results are usually best if you have engaged with them before or know they might be interested in the campaign. Who knows...we might see a Floating Tree in a live stream someday! :D
  • Who Hasn't Seen It?: Do a search in the Facebook groups you're active in and see if the campaign has been shared recently. There's nothing worse than link spam - and nothing better than a good find in one of the smaller groups you're in at the same time.
  • Tag your friends who might be interested. We all have that friend who would want amazing terrain. If we unlock the first share stretch goal then we can unlock them all :)
  • Most importantly: Remember to be respectful & considerate. I trust you all as backers to NOT spam these links, and to share it with people, in places, and within communities, that might genuinely be interested in our campaign. Please honor that trust.

Once again: Thank you all ahead of time for your support. We are looking forward to seeing how far we get, and hope we have a lot more Terrain to make soon! :) As always, if you all have any questions - please feel free to reach out.

We would like to also point out this social sharing concept above was created by Danny over at 3D Printed Tabletop during his Kickstarter The Lost Dragons.  Thank you Danny for everything you do for this community and for the amazing idea of social stretch goals :)
